Description

This took me some 90 hours to cook up. Still couldn't get rid of all the fireflies but I found using a median filter (set to 1) took away almost all the noise and made no changes to the light... I have been viewing the Make your own reality tutorials I did several variations of my last post but none of them were significantly better, so I tried a new angle - a close up. I also have a new favorite HAIR. This hair ROCKS!!!

I like the image and the facial mood is excellent. What lets the image down is the grainy appearance in this image. Have you tried DOF with the cameras and possibly Photoshop to smooth it out a little more? How come it took 90 hours to render, were you using Reality lighting? I know some hair with transparencies will add a lot of time to renders, so maybe you can try rendering without the hair first to get the image perfect, then add the hair for the final render. Cheers.
