Last weekend there was this Peace Rally here in Colorado.The lady speaking here.Lost her son in this undeclared war.

if we took all the money all the countries spent on war and concentrated to use for housing and healh care, and education for those in need what a peaceful world this could truly be.

ah,my friend.I just love this pic.Who will give peace a chance? Not politicians who are engaged in cultivating their interests and nurturing power for the sake of it. We're in 2011 and there's still somemone who thinks war will solve problems.

I get a lump in my throat every time I hear of another death from politician's conflicts.when most of the time it involves being able to secure natural resources and then politician's companies(Chaney) do the rebuilding

Yes, what we need is peace in the world. Only certain lobbies profit from war, for example, the arms industry. Great shot!

To those who have written or called their congressperson and ASKED for an end to war, I applaud. For those who have not, I respectfully request that you do so. War will end, when WE begin. Please take the time to make that call, or write that letter.

Fine photo Jim. Fine slogan. A hurting mother asking for a fine thing. I keep looking for terrorists worldwide to begin conducting their own peace rallies. I don't usually connect terrorists with politicians but maybe there is a link there:)
