Description

Thank you for stopping for a closer look. Any and all comments are welcome and appreciated. These 3 are now so big the nest looks too small for them. I'm guessing it wont be long until momma bird gets them out of the nest. She is working non stop bringing them worms now. There 3 have grown a lot in the past 2 weeks. on May 30th I posted an image of 3 eggs, then on June 7th the 3 newborn babies. They were kinda ugly back then with no feathers. Now they are looking like minitures of the parents. Jim

Isn't a new generation of birdlife always so special ? and it seems the nest is suddenly getting too small for the new brood - time to leave the nest ... well done, BB PS ~I would also like to thank you, for your kind Birthday greetings, via Andrea 'durleybeachbum' & Jacomina 'dochtersions'

Aren't they cute. Sorry you got attacted when you were on the ladder getting thier photo. The Mother Robin got you good on the arm. She wants to protect her babies from us huge creatures because they are so defensive and you disturbed supper time. Thanks Jim for getting this one for us all to see. Love and Hugs...

Wow, Jim, this is so cool. I was chagrined to note from your narrative that I missed the hatch-lings photo, so I went back to look at it. I had thought I was keeping a vigilant lookout, but it got by me. This is simply amazing, and I am so pleased you decided to stay the course. I note from Glenda's post that you were wounded in battle getting this shot. I, for one am grateful for your trepidation. Many thanks.
