Description

Greetings, and thanks for dropping by. Genuflections to all of the kind people at Renderosity who have commented on both my written and graphic work. Your generous words have been most sincerely appreciated and I am most heartily grateful for them. For those who are a little rusty in their Latin, ‘Lumen Gentium’ translates roughly as “Light of the People” or "Light of the Nations". Hey, Latin was hammered into me by some of the most grim and dour nuns imaginable. OMG the declensions… Stanino! Attenzione! (Stan! Pay Attention!) cantus, cantuum, cantui, cantibus, cantum, cantus, cantu… ARGH!! I am determined that it be useful for something! Created in Ultra Fractal

I almost took Latin in High School, til I found out they spoke Spanish in Latin America not Latin, LoL...Spanish has turned out to be a lot more useful, Americas second language as it's turning out. Super fractal work Peace

Love the chandeliers! It is as if such artificial things could somehow naturally grow from the treetops. Gorgeous. I think that studying Latin must have really been a drag, but it is such a beautiful and elegant language that yields an aura of sophistication to the speaker. Bella opus!

Magnificent image Stan!!!! I do not have any experience with latin at all. I do know what you speak of with the early schooling by strict nuns. In my very early days we were living on an airface base in Montreal. The nuns were quick to snap a ruler on your hands if you were slow to respond or not paying enough attention.
