------------- Tales of the Raptor – The Lions of Martek
Walking into town and wandering the streets a bit, they asked around for the Lions of Martek and got a few strange looks. Many Symballans still weren’t too trusting of outlanders, though the presence of a Mystic of Isis amongst them probably gave them a better reception than they’d otherwise have received. The crowds particularly seemed to point and whisper about Wendy with her purple eyes and hair. Miri simply being a Delsian elf, would have drawn enough attention. Her scant dress and stunning beauty made the situation worse. And Hawke, with his hat pulled low over his eyes and an Avandorian cross plainly visible hanging around his neck brought both stares and rude remarks.
Their mention of Muamud al’Nethrys brought similar responses. The few men who would admit to knowing him made faces and spit on the ground at the mention of his name. A few women smiled and giggled and rushed away before they would say anything. And a few others laughed and shared their dealings with him openly. These either insisting the group send him back soon, inform him to never come back, or remind him that he owed them money.
The name of Delialah beni’Ashura al’Syresh got a significantly different response, though some couldn’t resist mentioning that they never understood why she was running around with a shiftless rogue like Muamud. She had a reputation as a healer and a wandering priestess, but they also all made mention of her being a Sister of the Silverflame. Others mentioned her slave, a Half-Ogre named Daniel Blunt. Most thought that was a joke, but a few mentioned that saying that to Daniel would be most unwise.
The others in their band, as the word on the street had it, were an eclectic group. There was a female Pouarr Barbarian named Nightfire and her companion Bearwolf. There was a male lion Hebat Kar’Thane named Rashad. And there was a female Phaeroseyean Defender named Sh’liesha. They should be easy to spot, but they rarely went out unless they were about something. It took almost two hours of wandering the streets and asking questions to find the Lions of Martek were currently staying in the Gryphon & Harpy, an adventurers’ hangout and inn at the west end of main street.

An extremely formidable group! Very well rendered sir. Have you ever thought of animating your work? I only ask because your is so detailed that when I look at it, the characters seem ready to spring to life. It's like... all one would need to do is, snap ones fingers, and wham!
