Description
I've always loved the look of this type of canopy on the Vipers. In case you are wondering, the aircraft behind the F-16 are Super Hornets. Please zoom for more detail, and thanks for taking the time to visit my gallery.

I have only been close up with the "Fighting Falcon" at Edwards in 1980 and at the main PWA plant in Florida around the same time. I remember when it was named. So I never really got into the "Viper" thing. The stretched acryllic canopies on supersonic aircraft was a really significant advance.
