Description

Just a little portrait of one of my favourite characters. I only just recently finally got around to reading the Harry Potter books and what can I say? I love Professor Snape! ^_^ And I thought Alan Rickman was perfect in the movie. There's so much postwork on this I don't even want to think about it. Wish I had a pen tablet! I'm exceedingly happy with how well it came out however. This is more or less my first time doing hair from scratch and having to paint in facial features. As such there's only one element I need to credit: 'Aeris' texture by Blackhearted.

I thought Alan Rickman was great in the movie too, and I especially love the eyes and the mouth in this portrait!

This looks just like he did in the movie and how I imagined him from the book. I had heard you could use Stephanie textures on Michael, and this sure proves it. Just "EXCELLENT" Your postwork rocks!!!!!!1

This is terrific. He looks incredibly like Alan Richtman (from "Diehard" and "Galaxy Quest") to me. :) pg

Yeah...I am really really late...but I had to add my two cents. This is the type of rendering I attempt to aspire to...to be able to recreate an actual person. This is just an amazing job, and the postwork is awe-inspiring. :D
