Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Woah! Waitwhat? HUH? Since when did a stadium come with its on geological features? This is amazing and kind of...well...kind of out in left field. Chicago has two stadiums for our crosstown rival baseball teams, but none of them have their own rock formations! I like this stadium a lot better! This is amazing, and in many ways, otherworldly!

I seem to recall it being a fountain. Oh hang on ... this is what Wiki says: The most notable feature of the renovation, however, was a "California Spectacular" in which geysers erupt and a stream cascades down a mountainside covered with real trees, artificial rocks behind the left-center field fence, and new bullpens. Fireworks shoot out of the display at the start of games, after every Angel home run and after every Angel win (they had been shot off from a parking garage before then). Hmmm ... that IS a bit out in left field, isn't it? LOL!

Heavens to Betsy, what the hey?!!! I've watched a lot of baseball in my time, but never did I ever see a giant rock formation out on the field. Outfielder beware on going back on a fly ball. This is definitely a nonsequitur of an image and situation. The cameramen need hooks, pitons and ropes in maneuvering around that pile.

Used to be a "BIG A" out there. Nice shot.

I don't remember ever seeing this, but then it's been a lot of years since I was last there. Kinda looks like a miniature golf course!

This is unusual for a ball park. Looks like they have their own little band box.
