Description

With the wind on my back And the sun on my face I sit on a little ledge Just off the beaten path Staring across the great sea Contemplating just how lucky I am My heart is soft My soul is warm My kids are healthy And I am never hungry When I think I need more than this I should be ashamed I went on a hike the other day and found some awesome little ledges just off the beaten path along the cliff’s. they are perfect. They are just large enough to put a nice folding chair on and look out across the Columbia river. They are about 10 feet down on the cliffs edge like a little shelf that Mother nature made just for me to sit on and write poems from. Here is a picture of me sitting on one of these ledges listening to my headset looking across the water. Just another reason why I love Umatilla so much. She has everything.
