Hello Denise! this image is for you. on my way to work this morning, I stopped to see the water level of the Washougal River. While it is nice to see that the level has dropped, the cool part was seeing this Heron watching some goslings swimming about in the little inlet thanks for all the comments and faves Mike PS the water has dropped tremendously since my last post

Very cool capture, Mike! There are a few blue herons around here, but trying to get a good photo of one is not easy. Every time I try to get a photo of one, the darn things seem to know it, and fly away - it's like a game with them... "Oh, look! It's another photographer... Let's wait 'till he gets ready to shoot, then fly off at the last instant!" :-P Glad to see you were able to get a shot of one!
