A little Father's Day Dedi late but Secure...
Around this date I go into a very sentimental state, even though my Dad is alive and well, I'm 33 and I haven't had a Father's with him since I was 12.
My Mom and Dad got divorced when I was 8, and it hurt me very badly. Though I was very young I always have had this strong and powerful love for my parents that when ever there is special occasion like Fathers Day, or a graduation or a birthday I just can't accept the separation...
For this reason I wasn't around for these past days...
Now as for this image it's got a simple meaning...
The dude crouching is my avatar with a sad face, some of the pics I have of my dad are on the wall, as you can see there isn't any of me with him... Those are my Niece, Nephew, Sister, and Grand Parents....
So Happy Fathers Day even though late... and Dad... I Love You...

i wish my parents got divorced when i was 8. but in my time nobody cared for beatings and abuse. the beatings stopped when i was 17 and broke all of my fathers teeth, after that he did not touched my mother again. sorry i had to say it bubba. very nice wotk with the artbox freebie.

Sounds like Doc and me had similar child-hoods! Och well. Let me just say though, that it wasn't my REAL father that did such stuff. It was just some assh*le that my mum married. Long and complicated story, but I wish my father was around for me to celebrate that day with him (he passed away). Touching stuff, man.

My dad died when I was 10. So hard in school around Father's Day when all the kids were making little knicknacks. Very touching scene...

My friend, I am so deeply sorry for the pain you have gone through over your Dad. Sometimes the parents don't realize the one's effected most in a divorce are the kids.

The toon filter is effective and adds to the sombre mood and sentiments ! It's a shame that it's always the kids who suffer the most in divorce, I reckon couples should have to live together for at least seven years before they even think about marriage...yeah right, in a perfect world maybe !...mmm Nice dedi & ~Cheers~
