I saw this and immediately thought of a book cover: not a book cover I've seen, mind you, but one could just as easily see in the "What's New" section at what's left of Borders Books...Or Barnes And Noble, since they're doing better than their woe-begotten competition. It has the look/feel/vibe of the kind of book that would contain a story along the lines of The Kitchen God's Wife or Five Quarters of the Orange...or something along those lines: rich and delectable and not really too jarring, despite endless interest and gorgeous prose. Funny how all of that comes out, just from viewing a single image, but then, when an image is good enough, lots of things come out of it. This is gorgeous! Everything is so exquisitely done: the light and sharpness is superb!
