The other day , as my wife and I sat on the back porch , doing nothing in particular , i looked at her and thought " How pretty she looks ." And for some reason (or not ) , the words never formed in my mouth to tell her this . The next day , as I sat eating lunch at work , I thought , " I should send her a text to tell her what I had not said to her the night before . " And for some reason (or not) my finger never typed her that text . We went out for a drive this evening , and while we were out we stopped for dinner at a place we hadn't been in years . And as I looked at her across the table , this very same thought came into my mind again "How pretty she looks ." And again , the words did not form in my mouth . So this is for her , to apologize for my missed opportunities . And to let her know that although the words my not have formed in my mouth that the thought was there , in my head , and in my heart . I love you Isabelle , and , You look very pretty tonight .
