Description

At a beautiful southwestern-style home in Cave Creek, Arizona. They really paid attention to framing and vistas when they designed their gardens. Such a lovely place!

Lovely feathery trees...I can't remember the name...but beautiful nonetheless. Wonderful area - southern Arizona and you captured the feel of it.

I can't remember the name of the feathery trees either, but they really say "desert" to me...and the cactus is wonderful! Love the detail on the ridges. What a great view and shot!

Such soft, sweet light; except for the cactus, you'd never know it was the desert!!

The bit of red off to the right really frames this perfectly and adds a nice piece of warmth. The whole image is peaceful, serene, and absolutely grand in that way that only Nature can pull off...and what I'm really attracted to here is the unseen...in an environment like this, there have to be at least a few interesting little people with lots and lots of legs, and that is as much of a draw as what's presented. It's like reading a story in which the tale itself implies another, subtler, softer tale in a low, whisper-like register. I love it when images do that!
