Description

So after waking up Monday and looking at a wristwatch upside down (Robert.....) we thought it was 11:35 and half our day had been wasted snoozing. Rushing to get out and see London some more since it was the last day there and we had a Whitesnake concert to go to that night, we booked it for the streets, pretty much empty streets...which if you have been to London the streets are rarely empty as they were in front of us then unless its way past midnight...puzzled, we checked the time again...it was in fact 6:15 (by now...). Feeling a huge mixture of embarrassment and gratefulness we headed off to hit the Town...lol I took loads of pictures, just over 4 gigs worth after they were all loaded...several of Big Ben. I've always wanted to see this clock...to my surprise I even got to hear it chime!!!! It was AWESOME since we were right under it!!!!!!! We walked 11 miles that day by the way...lol I'm back home now and had a FANTASTIC time...my kids did a tremendously AWESOME job taking care of Justin and the house by the way...I thank them from the bottom of my heart, cuz I never could have done this without their support. Thanks to my sister lunchlady for being there if the kids needed to call her also. Added Sepia in Picasa 3 Name in Photoshop

Iconic. I'd know this place anywhere. Like the tipped view for something new. Sounds like you two had the fullest of full days in London. What a trip:) Am looking forward to seeing lots of pics from that 4GBs!

A wonderful soft capture of Big Ben but I bet he was loud to sleep under. I'm so glad everything went well and that all was calm when you got home. You will be able to look back on this break when things get on top of you.
