Description
Experiment in making water shaders.
Rendered in Carrara 2 using Global Illumination, indirect lighting and caustics. A very minimum of post on the water in the fountain, the rest is untouched.
The Cloister model comes originally from 3d cafe, I added the pool to the fountain.

The caustics are very good.

Wow! Now I have incentive to really try to use the application. It was on the back burner of things I needed to learn. Seeing this I think it has move to a very high priority!

This is great! I have Carrara 1.1 and find it quite buggy. Have recently ordered v2.0. Hope with a little work I can attain this level!

Beautifully done...

This is a beautiful image, and while I can see the temptation to look down with the beautiful water effects, I think it would have been more dramatic to be lower down, maybe even looking up at the fountain.

It's not a real sanctuary... it's got no hunchbacks swinging around in it. :o)

Very nicely done. Difficult to get one of these water effects looking right. I think you did a pretty good job. :o)
