Hand Painted Artist Hand With Tutorial P r e m i s e This Hand image is fully hand-painted from zero with Painter 7. You can use for the relative tutorial also other paint programs. T u t o r i a l 1 - If you're a novice put on your background a middle-dark Blue or Green colour (use White only if you're expert). Make all the rest of design and colouring on Layer 1. Make the basic contour design of the hand. It is not important a big precision in the stroke, as to put the exact proportions of the hand. 2 - Make accurately the design of the internal forls and creases of the hand. 3 - Begin putting the most clear colour of the hand image. Remember to work on layer 1. 4 - Apply now the most dark colour of the hand image. So you've fixed the 2 opposite colours to use in the Light-Dark scale. From now you should put only the intermediate colours between these 2 extreme and you will have too cleared into your mind exactly the lights and the shadows of your picture. 5 - Add the 3rd colour, that will be the second dark colour, near or not in the image to the most dark colour: this will be the colour of the intermediate shadows. 6 - Put the 4th color, that will be the second light colour, the one most used in the image: this will be the colour of the intermediate lights. 7 - Start to mix and blend the colours with a default Blending Brush (you can use my Frank Blend Brush for Painter too). Final Hand Picture - After Working for some hours and making a lot of blend and smear with Brushes, this is my final image.
