Here is the full version of this lovely thistle. Soon I will share the blooms with you :) OK, I played a bit with framing. Tried to create my own frame. Not the best result, but what the heck.... :) Have a wonderful weekend. We should get rainfree weather today, but it is still rather cold. LOL! Looks like something from another planet, I've never seen anthing like this before. :) Excellent capture of this fantastic plant! :) BTW The snail shell isn't small, it's the size of a Tennis ball. :)

Thistle is one of my favorites; I really like the flowers and I hope to capture a few myself. I noticed a few of them are already blooming, but they're not close to places I can get to easily. Oh well. Maybe some are beginning to blossom in the truck yard! That's one reason to want to go to work. Strange, huh? I really like this shot; you have an excellent sense of the thistle's size, and I love the spikes already formed and ready to make flowers before turning brown and causing all sorts of anguish for various furry things like dogs. Marvelous. I like the framing and the darkened edges. It looks almost like a lomo photograph! Very nice!

He's huge! And beautiful! What lovely silvery green leaves he has. Beautiful capture! Wonderful detail. I like the framing. It centers attention on your pet.
