Description
This is hand-made soap and contains pieces of the African amarula (marula) fruit. I photographed this many moons ago in the Kingdom of Swaziland. It was displayed on a light box - and I thought it made a pretty picture.

I love things like this ... handmade soaps, candles, froofy stuff like that. I almost never buy them, but LOVE to look, smell, touch ... wonderful! Your image puts me right there, drooling over these lovely soaps. Gorgeous!

@ Andrea - it is probably -3C at the moment - so really freezing. And our homes do not have heating in SA... Uncomfortable...

Oh, this is interesting, and I love the soothing pastel colors and the crispness of detail. Had you not told me what they were, I think it might have taken me a moment to figure them out. I originally surmised they were wafers of pineapple being warmed on a steam table as some kind of rare African delicacy. Then I noticed the tags. Didn't figure edible food would have tags on it, at least not whilst being prepared...Then I had absolutely no idea what this was, but couldn't stop looking at it. Do you even HAVE pineapple in S.A.? Obviously, I have no idea what I'm talking about and my coffee hasn't fully kicked in yet... Anyway, I really like this picture. And, once again, happy (belated) birthday.

A lovely and colourful image with a great bit of repetition for those of us that require a good dose of it periodically...I love the cold, but I also need a heated place to go back to--brrrrr! Do you at least have a fireplace to sit by?
