Description

Here is my first carrara render. Ok not the absolute first test render , but my first scene. I bought carrara pro for half price this weekend. I really don't know how the lights work, or the posing and a lot of things are strange to me, but it seems to work quite well with my daz content. Can't wait to try some modeling and to learn how to use it. Any tricks or tips or criticisms are most welcome.

This is a LOT better than MY first Carrara scene LOL! Mine was so bad I didn't bother to post it. There are a number of free tutorials at Daz and on YouTube - anything marked Carrara 6 or Carrara 7 should still apply to C8. If you want a HUGE boost and have $100 to spend, I highly recommend Phil Wilkes' tutorial series - you can get it at Daz or at Infinite Skills. Really nice work for someone so new to C8, keep it up!
