Description

This is what the gulls were waiting for in yesterdays upload, the top arrow points to a fish head. I wasn't quick enough to catch the throwing action of the fisherman.

Wonderful POV and capture! :) They are fun to watch trying to catch food thrown to them. Down by lake Ella they will fly hovering just a few feet away from you trying to catch what you throw as it leaves your hand. Impossible to take picture of that way and you have to be mindful of your fingers. LOL!

Jeff, I see you are using an Olympus E-500 (I have an E-510 and an E-30). Will your camera shoot multiple images? Mine has a setting for this...I call it the burst mode (not sure what Olympus calls it). A situation like this...fast moving...is perfect...set the camera to the burst mode and shoot as long as you hold the shutter button down. Results are really good. Gives you lots of options. I've also used this mode on birds coming and going from my feeder. Again, very colorful and interesting.
