This is a bit of an update. From humble beginnings my photography is steadily improving.I started out with a Kodak point and shoot camera and progressed to a Sony A-200 Digital SLR camera.Other equipment that i currently have is the following: Tamron 70-300mm lens. Superb! Sparrows are so distinct, and the doves resemble many of the doves I have seen in Chicago. Nice. I love the natural light in this and the soft, slightly muted colors. The birds blend in nicely. I also enjoy watching birds while they're being fed by people who like birds; they seem like such different creatures at those times--still pure birds, but also something else. This shot captures that wonderfully.
