Description

Finaly figured out the biped system. Well, here's the fully poseble dragon. It's made from scratch. Check out my previous image to see a close up from the head.

Absolutly Amazing. The only thing I can see in it that I would change, would have to be the blade material. I dont know why, but it just doesn't seem to match the quality of rest of the image. May I suggest a brushed chrome type metal? Or something similar to that. I feel kinda foolish giving you a tip... kinda like a like a third grader with a crayon telling da'vinci how to paint. hehehe... anyways. Man, you have to let me in on how you do this... -DBZ-

I hope someone is paying you to produce stuff like this. This is Incredible, dunno about crayon user, I feel like I've only just managed to sit up and stop drooling.

Good modeling out there! As i see, the only problem is in materials, especially skin of character and blade of the axe. I'd suggest you to try "Strauss" shading for skin, to get rid of that "plastic" look. I also strongly recommend you to change skin texture or to create it in higher resolution. And add some bump to the leather armor, along with lowering the brightness of highlights. Dark gray parts of armor also would look much better with added texturing. For blade, on my opinion raytrace material would be fine. Your material is too bright for real polished steel in dark room and 1/2 light sources (too much chrome reflection) and chrome threads are too big and wide. And at last, highlight flare may look better if it'd be a lit'bit smaller, sharper and with not so much glow. I hope you'll find some use for my advises. I'll be looking forward for the complete scene with this character!

There's a whole lot of great modelin' and texturin' going on here. I suppose I could agree that not every texture reaches the same high level, but a fantastic job none the less!

Damn cool model, although I think a little more expression on it's face would help, and the axe is a bit short on polygons, it would be better with a nicely curved, sharp, crisp edge. You should lower the polygon count on the whole thing, make animations of it, and use it as a model for a game like Quake3, I've heard it's not too hard.

It seems like there should be more light illuminating the room with how bright the reflection on the axe is. I think this is an excellent character.

Great Character model. I just tried my first character model and you crushed me. I think the axe should have more polys to make it as clean as the rest of the model. The body texture is great on the hands and the chest but it get a little blurred on the legs. Just some suggestions. I'm not even close to this yet but this model is worthy of perfection.

i dont like the chrome on the axe...and this image has to many 10s so ill give it a 1, the lizard looks ok though, but your lizard warrior looks better...actually all your works looks better then this. your other works, most of them looks very good, especialy your drawings, pen and paper allways looks better then 3d art.
