Description

A summer sunrise over a field of poppies just beginning to catch the first rays of light of the day. Taken at 5am the same morning as my previous upload 'Glowing Poppies' (which was taken an hour and a quarter later in case you were wondering.) This is one of those images that looked pretty good 'au naturel', and it was a bit of a dilemma whether to just leave it be or go with a more 'artistic' interpretation... weighing it up in the end I felt a darker approach really helped convey the mood of the moment and bring out the glow of the first light of the day.
