Description

In PS, you can drop the black or white or even a color from a layer so that the layer underneath can show through. Double click on the layer panel in the layers dialogue box and another dialogue box will come up. Under advanced blending, hold down the option (alt on PC) key and click on right side of left triangle or left side of right triangle under the black to white strip called "this Layer" and drag in toward the middle. You will see the blacks or the whites slowly disappear showing the layer below. Interesting to play with sometimes.

Indeed - another creation altogether and very appealing to the eye ... By magic the colour just pops now - I shall give it a go as well, thanks for the tip ! BB

Oooohh !! Thanks! I just took a blue-sky-with-trees and an orange terracotta building and did some fiddling with this technique. I'll be going back to this one. :) You rock! Love your result, btw. I need to practice to get that sort of result! :)
