Description

You never know where inspiration will come from, nor when... I set out to shoot the sunset and stumbled across a graveyard of sorts of driftwood slowly being overrun by sea side grasses near the shore. I started shooting of course. I couldn't help but let myself be drawn in by not only the textures of the withering pieces of wood, but also the juxtaposition of the old wood and new grasses and plants growing up around them. This series was shot after the sun had set on a heavily overcast evening, setting the mood even further.
