My Name is René, born 03-April-1955
i come from the Grand -Duchy of Luxembourg, and my wife UteBigSmile and me have been living in spain the last 17 years, where we discovered renderosity and the 3d world.
Due to health reasons i lost my job and i got retired early, and last year (2013)we moved back to our Home Country!
............................................
My hobbys are PC,Internet,Pc-Configurations,
reading fantasy,as well as from april of 2008 doing 3drenders. ............................................... As my father bought me only the cheapest of accessories for painting in school(he was maybe not able to afford more expensif stuff.),the other kids were laughing at me,and so i decided that: i will never do art in my life, imagine i was 8 years old. so i managed to build up a "blockade",concerning art until april of 2008. then my wife utebigsmile was behind me and she pushed me to do something instead of playing only my ego shooters and working with photographs, where i was unable to get inspired. I had a copy of poser but i did not came along with the program, then i went to a 3d forum, because i told myself ,there must be more people like me outside in the cyberspace(LOL). Finally i got an offer,Bryce 5.5 for free and Daz-Studio,i tried a week around and little by little i was able to understand the basics. so i upgraded my bryce to version 6 and i got a platinum membership on daz, a lot of freebies and cheap articles,i bought like wild, Now i do have a content of +-500gigs and i carry on . what gave me the most is this feedback from the people here, and also everything well educated, the whole way of getting along with each other, the respect etc... gives me soo much. Update:UteBigSmile is getting better and better,in health and in spirit-lol. She does wonderful graphs as well-but now she is also addicted on DazStudio.3d. And this is it for now, "God" bless you all here the link to my page: renecyberdoc4.uterene.org/

I am seeing the beta site right now and it's on and off. I still like the old one though. The bright blue colors are just too strong. This is quite a nice post, Rene. A great action scene!

I'm looking at the beta site as well and it took a bit to figure out what is wrong. As much as I like blue, it is an overpowering colour combination that actually distracts from the image. The older colors where darker and rather enhanced the images. Also why is the drop down menu transparent. It should be solid so the writing underneath does not show through. Why do they change thse things. We are an artistic community and Rendo webdesigners should be seeing the same the rest of us are. The artwork is suppose to be dominant not the background. Geez, Change is not always better. As for your image. Great job.

Wonderful work Rene! I love the details and pov. I'm testing the beta site also, so far, no problems, except the font seems to be much smaller, which makes it hard on my eyes. Otherwise all loads fine and no more page jumping like I was having before, lol.

Great image Rene though hard to see with all this blue. I think its a bit much prefer the old look and find the writing hard to read, not sure if its the font they have chosen but is hard to read it seems smaller and for us oldies that need glasses. I think now the glasses will need updating to read the font.. and agree with Liz the older colour enhanced the picture not drew your eye away from the picture.. They will think its just the old people don't like change but its not that at all, sure change the logo and set out if they want, (though people like to know where things are, say the marketplace button, and not have to hunt around again to find where everything is. Peoples time is limited) but the colour don't make so over powering.. Oh well guess they wont listen to us anyway they never do its like the governments you pay there wages but they do just what they want..

yep the text is smaller in firefox i can zoom but thats not the solutiuon if we have to zoom all the time,as for the blue it does not disturbs me yet-i will work like this for a day just to see if it blows my eyes you know the reason i cant be here then lol.

Great action scene!

wonderful scene and image!! About RR site B-test. In my opinion THIS FONT SIZE IS TOO SMALL and difficult to read. No problems with the blue, maybe I'd extend the fading both sides.
twingo
Great looking action scene Rene, excellent work. The new site is somewhat powerful in colors indeed, text is smaller and as Barry said we are not getting any younger so keep those fonts BIGGER.
