Last year I started my third period of photography after fifteen years silence.I began in the analog eighties and took primarily slides with my Pentax MX until it broke. Then, in the early nineties, I started digital photography with a very simple Logitech Fotoman. It was easy to operate because the camera didn't have any features except a flash! The surprise came ofcourse when I first downloaded pictures on my computer. The ease of working digitally convinced me. Still, after a few years, my interest declined.Until last year when I took a chance to work with a compactcamera, seeing other peoples work. In the end I bought a new camera myself. Eversince I can't imagine living without a camera.

I can only think of how warm it would be sitting under those windows! LOL! Love the architecture, though. Wonderful image!

Beautiful point of view.. Very nice B&W BTW.. I assume the fact that you posted a picture of the same set of buildings today is nothing more than a coincidence. :-)

An excellent capture of this unusual building. The angles look great.

Although the design is rich in interest, it seems to offer little in warmth and comfort. Rather austere for my tastes, but an excellent photo!

mooie zwart-wit foto, works very well here. de lichtval komt zo goed uit. het lijkt me heel apart om daarin te wonen.

Now this is quite the fascinating architecture and idea of structure. Must be really cool to sit in something of this nature and gaze around and upwards. I really must say though, I think the composition captured in B&W the way you have, is most fitting and perfect for this. Really takes us into, and focuses on the particular POV that is being represented here. A wonderful and most curious subject, Onno!
