Description
Just a bit of before and after work on Dalek Rusty who some of you may remember from some monthes back (not the rusty dalek in the story, this one was one I put together myself, or to be honest tortured the geometry of to get a beaten up look.) In the first picture we see Rusty in his first incarnation under bright yellow lights that make rust become orange peel. In the background you can see my Colin Baker from last year, without his coat of many colours texture which I see to have mislaid somewhere. This is all part of scene setting for an excerpt from the Big Finish Audio 'Jubilee'. The Dalek in this story is held prisoner by vicious humans for a century in a state of perpetual pain. The Doctor happens along because of the screams of pain he hears coming from the Tower of London. What he finds is his oldest enemy reduced to a pitable state.
The second picture is after applying Samtherapy's rusty dalek texture; this may not have worked applying it to this entirely different mesh, but it seems to have paid off in the render.
I also mooded down the lights a tick.

Neat...could be a before and after for what too much Tango will do to you :-) I like the right hand image, even Colin looks spooky (and that never happened in real life)...great contrast, just shows what a difference a change of light can make...

Very nice! If that can be applied to Daleks, that is.
