Description

Had to check out the PLE for VUE.....I am tired of drooling over the cool stuff VUE users can do. Mine is not yet 'drool worthy' but I am posting this to put pressure on myself to work at it. DAVE 5391151

Vue is the BEST. I make all my backgrounds with it. It's the closest you can get to real Nature. Don't give up, as it takes a while to learn how to control it. However, it's WELL worth the effort.

Dude, gotta start somewhere! Terrains are where you start. Looks like you were also working with the materials. Trying to figure out the materials AND composition in Vue AND atmospheres and the rest is a heavy lift. It took me a solid year after I got the program to get to the point where I don't completely suck with the training wheels off. That said, I'd heartily recommend studying whatever tutorials you can get your hands on. Vue requires study. Go to Geekatplay.com and work along with the free video tutorials online--which is what I did--and pick up the cheap ones and plants and stuff at Cornucopia as you can. Totally worth it. Vue is one where the high-priced spread is totally worth it. I would have been happy with Complete, except for one thing: the Collada import, Poser import, and the ability to generate alpha masks. Totally necessary! Anyhow--Keep on keeping on! Good work to start off!
