Utterly gobsmacked!! thank you Pat... I love it, the trusty Chinook.These are great to photograph, you hear them coming ten minutes before they arrive, and go nice and slow to give you time....this ones quite low even by Chinook standards...great shot, thanks for the dedi you've made my day....thank you Pat.

in the mid 80's when DFW airport opened they had a mock crash and Chinooks were used to ferry the "injured" to Parkland hospital.I was on an elevated section of a interstate highway near the hospital and I heard the noise first then all the sudden a Chinook flew right over the highway at a lower altitude than this.to say the least it scared the heck out of me.I had the chance to walk around the inside of one at an air show and it looks a lot bigger flying than in actuality super dedi
