Description

this is why the hawk was at the shed... We have a family of a mama squirrel and 5 babies living under the shed. My Dad told me to come to the sewing room, where we can see the shed, and to bring my camera. When we got there, the squirrels were just at the opening, when suddenly the hawk flew right down, startling all of us. I managed to get the shot of him looking at the hole where the squirrels had scampered off to and the next shot was the hawk flying off in disgust (he missed his breakfast) Thanks for viewing Mike

Hooray for the squirrels! Someone should tell the hawk that a vegetarian diet is better for his health. Outstanding capture.

Awww, never seen a whole family of squirrels. You know our darn electric company is always blaming those little cuties on our electric outages and surges :(
