RavenBa, this is great beginnings. I would suggest the bumpiness of the water be turned down and lose the lightning. Terragen produces very realistic imagery with a little work and practice. Things that may help is: always be aware of scale, try not to center the horizon in an image, decide what the focal point is to be in the image and create lines for the eye to follow to that point. Keep it up, don't get discouraged, and don't let copy/paste comments sway you from your art.
