Description
EEEEEeeeeeeEEEEeeKKKKKkkkk!!! Found these critters on my tiny of the tiniest Tommie Toe Tomatoes making a fine home for themselves. Not sure if the spider-things are friends of the aphids or what (I know they sometimes keep other species like we keep herds of cows).
I did, in the end, use some Sevin (safe for chickens so I figured the cats and birds would be fine) to clear these guys out (after the bees had mostly finished for the day).
I am looking forward to my first tomatoes of any size~

So far I've been lucky with not getting those pests just the one Hornworm. Great capture! :)

The spider will eat the aphid! in the absence of aphid eaters I squish 'em with my fingers..that's why I'm 'Green-fingered'!

Yes, I agree, spiders will eat the aphids. If there were no spiders, the world would be full of vermin. Great shot!
