Description

Just a glimpse into our world here. These bison are not wild, they are raised by a local farmer. A few years ago there was a big push for raising beefalo. They were a cross between beef cattle and buffalo. You no longer see them. Jim

What a wonderful collage. They are handsome looking beasts. Bison meat is very good,alot less fat content than pure beef,but very expensive. Excellent photos Jim. Love and Hugs...

a white buffalo calf was recently born in Texas on a ranch that raises them also.an Native American came by to offer blessings because they believe the white is special in their religious beliefs
