A collage of some single fireworks from this year's display, taken from the roof here at work. I had climbed up ahead of time, where I would be the higher than anyone else observing from the rooftops downtown. Unfortunately, it started to rain. Then it got heavier. Figuring it was called off, I went back into the building. Five minutes later, the rain stopped and the fireworks began. So up the roof I returned, having to deal with climbing up two wet ladders. Could've been worse. As with the shots I took last year from a dock that was close to where they were shooting them off from, a lot of shots that weren't crap ended up a bit shaky (some much more noticably so), but in some cases, I think it makes for a better capture. Anyhoo, here's the first batch. My comp skills aren't that great, but this looked okay on my monitor at home - I hope it looks well on your monitors as well. One more collection to come a bit, and probably a single shot from the end of the show to wrap up this set before I start posting some renders again (if I finish something I'm happy with, that is).
