Description

Something I was working on tonight (my first character texture) and I'd like to get any advice I could to make it better. I tried using a photo, and don't think I did very well with the blending. ohh lala ricky! la bomba! close resemblance... but maybe change the hair with the DAZ flat top or yann hair.

The nose needs to be a little (very little) wider. Try adding a little more cheek crease too. And a little bit of a left smile to match the photo. To get the skin tone a little more golden, set the skin colors to a very pale yellow/beige, with a little more pink to the lips. Yani hair would go better, or try highlighting the hair texture with a little gold. This really is very good as is. The face by itself loses most of the "Mike" characteristics, and that ain't easy to do. Really remarkable, I wish I could do face poses half so well. Great job!
