Description
The bridges that Bono and The Edge are standing on rotated around the 360 degree stage. Someone had given Bono a handful of white roses during the performance, and the timing worked out so that just as the song had ended and the two bridges came back around to meet in the middle Bono leaned over the bridge to pass off the rose to The Edge.
When I had my vacation to Seattle all planned and the itineray all written out and ready to go. I found out three days before I left to come back to the states that U2 was going to be in Seattle at Qwest Stadium the day after I was scheduled to land. So I kept this as a surprise to my vacation companions until we got there.
Granted, it's not the best quality image zoomed all the way in from the nosebleed seats, with the things that concerts do to lighting, but a very cool moment during our 'Welcome To Seattle' day.
