Description

This is from exactly the same Poser scene as the first Homeward Bound. Same setup, same single light. Same angles. Same color and intensity, etc. The ONLY difference is that, in the first one, I told Pose2Lux that the light was a sun. In this one, I said it was a sky. Interestingly, to me at least, she seems more upbeat in this one. Just heading home, a bit tired after a happy night. While in the first one, she seems washed out and a bit wasted. Perhaps because the bright sun is above her in the otherf one, while she is in shadow. Here, she is in the same sot light as everything else. Your thoughts?

Personally, I prefer the first version. The lighting and shadows convey the emotion of the moment far better than the lighting in this image. This image uses global illumination, which at least to me is far more suggestive of a hazy mid-day scene. I still love the setting and the character, but you need a new story to go with this version.
