Description
I drive transit bus. It's a mundane job, often a bit of pressure, either from traffic or unpleasant people, but every once and a while, things come together to create that perfect moment of Oneness. This is an unframed snapshot I made to remember one of those moments.
A four year old girl comes out to greet her Father's arrival home from work when ever she can, and this day, she brought Mrs. Bus Driver a lovely summer bouquet that I wedged behind my microphone conduit. A little while later, the summer evening sun caught it while I was sitting at an intersection, and I took a quick shot of it with an unaimed click of my Coolpix.

This is an instant favourite for me because my dad drives school bus haha plus this is a perfect shot with the lighting, and even the fact that we can see the mirror and your steering wheel, it becomes like we're looking out of your eyes... and the lighting on the subject is awesome. Really brings it out of the shot. Love this raw image- thanks for sharing! :-)

A wonderful capture with the sun lighting up the beautiful flowers. All buses need flowers I think.

The Te of Transit! How totally excellent .. the power of the small things ... How wise of you to carry your camera with you at work! You'd have missed this exquisite small moment without it. I feel like I'm looking over your shoulder, sharing the moment, almost. I have to get a little camera .. I miss so many things on my walk because I can't manage the dog, the poop bags AND the camera!
