Description

Inspired by a Photo and painted by memory. Acryllic on paper, where I painted the background with very light yellow ocre paint, in which I added a little sand. It was suppose to be used with Dry Pastels to make them stick better, but then I couldnt smear, so I used Acrylic instead. I did make a little pastel too without a sand bg. I will try to catch up with some of your uploads during the day. I wish you all a beautiful day. We have lovely summer weather again today. They promise rain the next couple of days. Thanks alot for all the favs to yesterdays post. It is so sweet of you.

Beautiful work on this painting Helle! :) I've heard of using sand with acryllics before for murals to give then a more rough texture, but I never heard of it for soft pastels.
