Description

Excerpt From Dr Julian Thompson's Article 'Cybernetics & Modern Medicine' Published July 2nd 2034 With the advances in medical technology during the past thirty years it has become possible to repair injuries in patients who's injuries just a few decades ago would've resulted in death. The advant of cybernetics within this process has been a vital one, but the human cost is still to be calculated. Patients who have had body parts replaced with cybernetics have, in some cases, developed pshychological issues, some develop depression and anxiety, especially with regards to technology. Others have been observed to fall into, what can best be described as a 'philosophical coma' of emotional debate regarding their existence within our society. The same question has been noted when examining these patients. Am I human? --- DNA's Cybertronica IW43D's Magellan habitat module doubling as a future apartment with Moebius' Dystopia city blocks providing some background interest.
