Description
This piece is named after J. R. R. Tolkien’s wondrous realm in Middle-earth. The name is translated from the Sindarin name Imladris, meaning "deep valley of the cleft". It is also the place Bilbo Baggins went to retire. It is reputed by Tolkien to be a paradisiacal realm of great beauty, magic and wonder.

Gorgeous work Stan!!! This is an amazing adaption of Tolkien's world. I remember reading The Hobit in grade 5 and the pictures in it were very crude line drawings of maps and such. If it had been illustrated with wonderful images like this I'm sure I would have enjoyed it more. Superb fractal and perfectly fits the title.

Wonderful work as usual, oh Lord of the Mendelbrot Sets! In a way, you are always doing what E. A. Abbott did, but on a fractal space, instead of a plane. Fabulous!
