MB3D / PSP Thank you for stopping for a closer look. Any and all comments are welcome and appreciated. This scene reminds me of a view from a back alley in the big city. This is a gem found from exploring the parameter shared by Mario837 earlier today. It is thru the selfless sharing of our paramters that keep this medium growing in interest. The minds that are cleaver enough to write these programs request that users keep sharing thier parameters for the sake of building interest. There is a few of us that routinely share on this site but unfortunately several that seem to not share such a community spirit. Hope this finds everyone enjoying a nice summer evening, or winter evening i guess for our kiwi friends like Nancy and others down that way. This one has the best view. A super fractal, and yes we had a cool winter's night with a light frost but have a beautiful sunny day today. I'm really enjoying our mild winter.

Wonderful! About sharing..I was a craft (studio) potter and always was prepared to give others my glaze recipes.But some potters would rather take theirs to the grave. I never understood why, for the results in every kiln and with every clay vary enormously, so the chance of some rogue stealing ones business is nil!

Yeah, very cool, excellent shot. I have'nt looked deeply at those params yet but I will they look really promising. I have always had a bit of a bug up my butt about Copyright and Digital Art on the Web, if someone wants it they're going to take it coptright or not. As an Admin on another site for a couple of years I have dealt with the issue several times, there were cases of Imagery copied pixel for pixel Sig or Watermark removed by cropping or other methods and passed off as original by someone else. That's just outright THEFT and doesn't fly or go un noticed for long and should be cause for immediate Gallery removal and Bannishment. Then there the cases of Photomanipulations where pieces parts of several images are used to make one (I do this frequently myself, I love doing Manips) if credits are given where the stock pieces parts came from that should be the end of it, nothing was stolen. Even if no credits are given, if the originating artist does not object to it's use in a personal complaint (no 3rd party "hey you took that from so and so, your a theif) then nothing was stolen. When it comes to fractals it just seems absurd to keep it a secret it's mathmatics and math is no secret. I can understand wanting to copyright ones work but to not share how you arrived at that mathmatical conclusion just seems selfish. Maybe I'm naive (been called a lot of things but never that) but I give Fractalists and any artist for that matter more credit for not wanting to just copy something but to create their own vision based on someone elses work that inspires them. MB3D has the easiest file sharing capability I've seen in any app and it's that capability that has caused the program flourish so prolifically, every shared parameter leads to more variations of it shared and you can't convince me that's a Bad Thing. Sorry Jim, I'll get off my Soapbox now, just a sore spot I have to vent about now and then. Gotta run, need to go fractal for a while, steal someones Math...

jim this is an outstanding mb3d, to u and all other mb3d artists b4 i found out how to save parameters, i ended up using mandelbulb to op4en my save and they are all in ansi codes, and the only way u can open them is by going to parameters and touching the selected folder, u said once b4 u didn't even know what language this one i saved the parameters for was in, lenord pointed it out to me it was ansi code but i can't figure out how to change them! i would love to share all my params with everyone and the world!:(*5
