Description
This is the 3d version of a painting I did about 15 or so years ago. The original was in Readers Digest probably 20 years ago. I did not think I could make it look good but thanks to SeaVue and the "Golden Hind" I'm happy with it. I came up with the poem because when you hear of recovered treasure I wonder how many people never came home because of that wreck, and the people who never knew what had happened to their loved ones.

Reminds me of the stories of the Spanish Armada of 1588... after the ships were scattered by the storms as they rounded the Northern coasts of Britain and Scotland, after being defeated by the Royal Navy of Elizabeth I, and the thousands of spanish sailors who perished and dozens of ships wrecked along the coast.... very well done, looks very like a real painting....
