Description
Today's picture is a 2D portrait of the french singer Patricia Kaas. Her style is a mix of jazz, blues and pop.
Why do I choose to draw her portrait? Because she's from the same region as me : la Lorraine.
In her songs she describes very well the complex identity of this part of France torn in two six decades ago between France and Germany.
Today, we feel french of course, but we don't forget our german culture and history.
World Wars were awful and killed too much human beings : that's why we prefer being friends with german peoples who live just on the other side of the borderline. They have suffer like us and peace is much more better than war.
The title of the picture is also the title of a song !
