Description

Uncle Tobias, Had warned Merri never to go down or near the cellar, 'never EVER!' he seriously stated. But the many days and nights that Merri had spent in Tobias' castle the more she was intrigued by the mystery of the cellar, why was it always locked, why was uncle Tobias so vehement about staying away from it. Merri would query uncle Tobias about it over dinner, but he would just look grim grunt and quickly change the subject, or simply pretend that nothing was said and that it seemed to put Tobias in an even more brooding non-convulsive mood. The fact was most annoying to Merri, considering that she could do nothing about it, especially as uncle Tobias always sleep with the keys on him. Until one fateful and particularly brooding night uncle Tobias had drunken himself in to stupor and passed out on the floor, Here was Merri's chance!, she carefully removed the keys and headed for the cellar.
