More from Huntington Beach, CA. I already want to go back. I love walking on the beach. Thanks for looking, commenting and faves on "Little Anchors in the Sand". I hope you are enjoying your weekend. Oh, I have so much catching up to do in your gallery, but this is a great place to start! What a vivid shot! You really nailed the whole frikkin' thing...and I love it. The colors grab me, as colors tend to, but I think what really pops in this shot is the action (the birds, and what looks like a woman and her child?) and the motion of the waves...everything is in super balance here, and the pier in the distance is the icing on the cake. I especially like the DOF in this...that pier in the distance, I think, is what really adds to the depth. The silhouettes are perfectly caught. In short, this is fantastic.

Gorgeous warm colors, silhouetting, clarity and stark contrasts in this outstanding capture, Melinda! This was definitely worth the $15 parking fee, which I have yet to encounter wherever I go. And, I don't know anything about endorphins, but exercise does make you feel better.
