Description
It is with great pleasure that I am able to preview here a photograph I shot of Jimi Hendrix on stage in concert. This photo has never been seen before because the original film was underexposed by two f-stops. I recently purchased a new state-of-the-art dedicated 35mm film scanner with software that can see the detail in underexposed film and stretch the “gamma” to correct the exposure to normal… allowing for this intimate image of Jimi on stage. I am using this technology to prepare my archive for upcoming gallery shows.
