Description

Vue8Frontier/DazStudio3.1/Photoshop An exploration of using only a spotlight and simple backdrop in Vue.The figure is the same as in my last post, only this time I zoomed in to show more of the facial morphing I did(there you go lhumungus).I re-posed the figure back in DazStudio, and added the Morphing Python, then exported into Vue(although I had the python completely distort when imported,so I eventually saved each seperately and re-positioned the python in the hand in Vue...very annoying!).The spotlight has volumetric shadows selected, although I could find no setting to adjust the shadows to make them softer(must be because Frontier is an entry level program).Postwork in Photoshop consisted of the border, title, signature and resizing. Thanks for taking a look, and for commenting,if you do!

Oh, when you wrote 'Morphing Python' I thought you meant a script. I'm a geek. Great lighting! I love the shadows in the air.

The lighting is fantastic, as is the pose. A lot of effort went into making this lovely piece of art and it shows. Original and interesting.

Extra cool again that skin looks so realistic wow. Your use of light and the poses here work perfectly together and look very natural.

Not your average snake charmer, but a real chip off the block !...LOL Simple yes, but effective scene and concept. I really thought all versions of Vue have a shadow softening input, select the light and in the top right of the work area you should find it directly under 'Colour' & 'Point at camera', it goes from 0 - 45, with 45 being extremely soft shadows...I hope that helps. ~Cheers~
